Ways to Get Involved
Whether you have a few hours to give or are interested in a larger leadership role, there are many ways to share your time and talents with OLLI at FSU.
Class Hosts
Help create a welcoming, organized classroom experience. Class Hosts greet and check in members, share announcements, assist instructors, and help each class run smoothly.
Showcase of Classes & Activities
These roles support our biggest event of the semester and ensure members and guests feel welcomed and informed from the moment they arrive.
Represent OLLI
Share your OLLI spirit with the community! Represent OLLI at local events such as Chain of Parks, Springtime Tallahassee, Downtown Marketplace, and more. Meet new people, share why you love OLLI, and help others discover all that our lifelong learning community has to offer.
Governance & Leadership
For members who want a deeper leadership role in shaping OLLI's future, these opportunities provide meaningful ways to serve, contribute ideas, and represent fellow members.

Hi, I’m Marsha VandenDooren, your Volunteer Committee Chair. Since joining OLLI in 2014, I’ve enjoyed many classes, trips, and activities. We always welcome new volunteers—whether helping at events, organizing activities, or supporting behind the scenes.
Our leaders value your ideas, and there are many ways to get involved throughout the year.
