30A Walkers

Meeting dates: Rotating schedule, set by group members.

The OLLI at FSU, PC30A Walking Club provides year-round opportunities for walkers of all fitness levels to keep moving and enrich friendships. Whether you are new to the 30A area or a long-time resident, you will enjoy walking with us weekdays in and around the state parks, coastal dune lakes, beaches and communities of Walton County. We have opportunities for both “gentle” walkers and intermediate or advanced walkers/hikers. Our kick-off walk to view the Rosemary Beach Sculpture Exhibition will be Feb. 12 at 8 am. To join us please register online under Activities. Members will organize and lead subsequent walks. Contact Heidi Marse Ellis, ellisheidi01@gmail.com.

5:30-7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday nights OLLI members along 30A and their friends get together at pre-selected venues in South Walton for socializing, beverage tastings, and exploring a variety of dining options. The Sipping Club is open to everyone who wants to relax, build community and have fun. We visit well-known establishments, best-kept secrets, and even some 30A dives. The group is very informal. You pay for your own beverages and meals. Contact Nellie Debruin, stpaulspot@gmail.com to find out the first meeting place.
